Wala nang balikan sa dating normal – Roque

In light with the upcoming implementation of general community quarantine in Metro Manila and NCR, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque reiterated that the threat of COVID-19 health crisis is still there and the transition to GCQ doesn’t mean that we can now go back to our previous activities prior to the coronovirus crisis.

“Wala nang balikan sa dating normal. Nasa new normal na po tayo.,” said Roque during his daily #LagingHandaPH press briefing in Malacañang.

Roque repeatedly mentioned that all policies and protocols like social distancing, handwashing, wearing of face masks, checkpoints, curfews, and quarantine pass will still be enforced because we are still in the community quarantine state.

Meanwhile, DILG Secretary Eduardo Año confirms that hard lockdowns may still be enforced in high-risk barangays even on GCQ.

Roque recently appeared in Willie Revillame’s afternoon game show, Wowowin.
