That’s what Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach did when she was aiming for the international beauty title. Pia joined Binibining Pilipinas three times before she won the Binibining Pilipinas Universe title in 2015.
When asked by Sam YG during the Aquafina Best Begins Now event held last week in Glorietta Mall in Makati, if she felt discouraged when after failing to grab the crown for the second time, Pia said it didn’t discourage her at all and in fact it became more of a challenge for her to continue her quest for the title.
Truly committed, Pia won the Miss Universe 2015 title and that opened a lot of opportunities for the beauty queen.

Less Is More
Sports enthusiasts and volleyball player-turned-beauty queen Michele Gumabao shared bits of beauty tips to the crowd attending the Aquafina event inside the Glorietta Mall.
“I still put on little make-up even when I was playing volleyball to look good in front of the camera,” said Gumabao who won Miss Globe Philippines 2018.
Michele also added that less make-up is better to maintain a good and healthy skin.
Also present during the event were Filipino fashion designer Francis Libiran and celebrity make-up artist Albert Kurniawan who shared their time for the Aquafina event to talk about how to help today’s youth reach their fullest potential through series of talks and tips to reach their best.

The #BestBeginsNow session happened last June 22 with activities divided into three areas: Beauty, Content Creation, and Hosting.
Hosts Sam YG and Suzy Gamboa took centerstage in the Host Like A Pro segment as they both talked about hosting, mentoring up-and-coming Magic 89.9 junior jocks.
