Michael Jordan at Kobe Bryant’s Memorial: “As I got to know him, I wanted to be the best big brother that I can be”

NBA Hall of Famer and owner of Charlotte Hornetts wept on national television as he gave a 10-minute speech at Kobe and Gianna Bryant’s memorial service held at Staples Center, this Monday morning {Los Angeles time).

Speaking in front of the thousands of friends, fans, and family of the Bryants, Michael Jordan could not help but let his tears roll down his cheeks as he reminisce his life experience with Kobe. Bryant, 41, died in a helicopter crash last Jan. 26 along with his daughter Gianna and 7 others aboard.

Jordan shared how Kobe used to call and text him as they both talk about everything, from business to sports, and all. They got close, “And as I got to know him, I wanted to be the best big brother that I can be,” said Jordan.

The Staples Center was a fit venue for tye memorial service where.flocks of fans and celebrities trooped to give celebrate Bryant’s legacy.
