The entire Bulacan province will be placed under general community quarantine by May 16 and that means there are changes from the previous ECQ protocols and guidelines.
However, it doesn’t mean that Bulakenyos can freely go out and roam around anywhere they want to. There will be exemptions amd limitations under GCQ.
As the ECQ and GCQ are in placed, the new normal standard of living must be considered and must be followed strictly to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Moving ECQ to GCQ doesn’t mean that the COVID-19 threat is over. Nope. And we still don’t know yet fornhow long this pandemic will stop.
In this light, Meycauayan City Mayor Linabelle Villarica urges every residents of the city government to comply with the new norms. Wearing of face mask, washing of hands, physical and social distancing, and disinfecting are considered part of the new normal living. Follow these protocols during GCQ because the disease is still out there.
