Meycauayan City Mayor Linabelle Villarica led the distribution of fresh relief in the 4th Batch of Relief from the City Government of Meycauayan.
The fresh relief distribution began on May 26, and all 74,665 families in Meycauayan are being helped by Mayor Villarica to provide and receive fresh, not just canned foods.
The fresh relief pack contains:
One (1) jumbo size fresh chicken with complete pickle; three (3) pouches of vinegar; two (2) pouches of soy sauce; five (5) kilos of rice; and two (2) canned sardines.
As always, social distancing is observed and residents are advised to put chairs outside of their homes where relief packs will be placed to avoid hand-exchange and physical contacts.
Delivery is straight from frozen storage to its recipient barangay.
There are 26 barangays in Meycauayan to receive the fresh relief packs.
Distribution includes all SAP support recipients.
