In line with and towards a sustainable lifestyle and living, Meralco President and CEO, Atty. Ray C. Espinosa declared a total Ban on Smoking within all of the Meralco compounds, effective immediately.
“We have banned smoking completely (starting March 1) so there would be no smoking in all of the Meralco facilities. Whether regular smoking, electronic cigarettes, and vaping. So that helps also in a very small way, probably in protecting our environment. We also want to inculcate a healthy lifestyle as part of our sustainability programs,” said Espinosa.
Moving forward, the marketplace will be open every first weekend of the month at the Open Parking Grounds of Lopez Building, Meralco Compound in Pasig City.
