Manila Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso, together with Vice-Mayor Sheilah ‘Honey’ Lacuna, led the ribbon-cutting of the 6th quarantine facility in the city of Manila.
The quarantine facility is located inside the Dapitan Sports Complex.
“Sa tulong po ng DEPW, naitayo na po natin ang ika-anim na quarantine na facility sa lungsod ngayong araw, ika-1 ng Hunyo sa Dapitan Sports Complex. Marami pa pong magbubukas na quarantine facility sa mga susunod na araw,” said Mayor Domagoso during the ceremony held last Monday, June 1.
Mayor Isko also announced that additional quarantine facilities will be opened in the coming days.
“Our goal is to test, test, test; isolate, isolate, isolate; care, care, care. Hindi po tayo titigil hangga’t hindi po natin tuluyang natatalo ang COVID-19,” Moreno added.
The city of Manila government aims to beat and end the spread of COVID-19, as soon as possible.
“To all health workers and frontliners, asahan n’yo pong palalakasin natin ang ating laban, preparing today to #BEATCOVID soon!”
