
Presented annually by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), the ANVIL is the symbol of EXCELLENCE in Public Relations for outstanding PR Programs and Tools.
The submission of entries opened last
October 15, 2019 and were closed on December 18, 2019.
The Gabi ng Parangal was held last night, February 28, 2020 at The Manila Hotel, awarding big names in the PR industry who showcased exemplary services and campaigns for numerous brands and advocacies that brought prestige in the industry.
The event was attended by industry leaders and game-changer teams who worked hard to achieve these spots at the 55th Anvil Awards Night which included Public Relations Programs, Public Relations Tools, and Special Categories as the major categories lined-up for selecting this year’s winners.
The ANVIL AWARDS’ highest honor is the Grand Anvil Award. This award is given to most outstanding public relations program that surpasses all programs already rated as “Gold” in their respective categories. While AGENCY OF THE YEAR is an award given to a public relations agency that garners the most number of accumulated points based on the value of each trophy received.

PLDT / Smart Communications, Inc.
List of big winners include PLDT and its wireless unit Smart Communications Inc. who took home 25 trophies at the 55th Anvil Awards, including the Platinum Anvil for Gabay Guro. Presented by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines, the Anvil Awards recognize outstanding PR programs and tools.

GCash brand on the other hand won the Anvil Company of the Year (Major Recognition) for product excellence and innovation in its Public Relations, Digital, Marketing Communications programs that garnered the most number of Gold (8) and Silver (13) awards.

PayMaya took home seven Anvil trophies for various campaigns.
Grupo Agatep

Grupo Agatep, a PR Agency headed by Mr. Charlie Agatep wins 10 trophies during the 55th season. Overall, through the years, Agatep PR now has a total of 177 Anvils to be proud of.
Stratworks, Inc.

Stratworks, a Public Relations and Marketing Communications Agency also struck gold in the Gabi ng Parangal. A total of 14 Anvils were awarded to Stratworks for work done with Jollibee, Starbucks, Cebuana Lhuillier, & Id8. These include two golds for the PR Programs category for Jollibee’s Kwentong Jollibee Valentines’ Day videos and ID8’s “8List #YOUthDECIDE” entry in the Digital PR Programs category.
Samsung Philippines

It’s a Gold Anvil win for Samsung Galaxy S10 PasS10n Lab mounted by EON Group (Philippines) to inspire and showcase the Samsung Galaxy S10’s unique features in a creative way through curating workshops with passionate trailblazers.
realme Philippines

Another surprise of the night was unveiled when the first industry award for realme smartphone brand was announced. The year-old realme community is recognized by the 55th Anvil Awards as a platform of nurturing a positive experience for the youth.
